What is the difference between inhibiting scale and removing hardness?Scale Inhibitor

To inhibit scale simply means the hardness is in some way "changed" to minimize its properties of scaling out on your plumbing. Scale inhibitors claim they do not remove any beneficial minerals from the water; in fact they remove nothing from the water.

Inhibiting scale can be done with several types of conditioning systems

  • Physical Conditioners
  • Magnets
  • Energized Inductors

NOTE: There is a limit to the amount of scale they can inhibit.

Unfortunately with the level of hardness in our area they are ineffective.

Removing the hardness is the only way to truly get the results you're looking for, such as clean dishes, white shirts, no bath tub ring, not having to squeegee your showers daily and improving your skin and hair.

Water SoftenersOnce we come to realize we really do need a water softener the question is simply which one?

It's just like buying a car. We all know that cars pollute. We choose to drive them anyway. As a consumer we can choose to buy a car that gets 6 MPG or 48 MPG.

None of the water softeners on the market today have changed their tank design since the 1950's.

They're extremely inefficient and waste water and salt unnecessarily.

This is why we're unique.
